Measured (useful) range outside was 60 meters. Range and consistency: Once the hop-up was tuned in the gun shot straight and consistent, no remarks here. The gun itself performs flawlessly, I love the cut off lever that actually decouples your battery from the electronics. This is something I have heard from other vector owners as well. They sound as if they were shimmed way too hard out of the box. Internals: The gears are really, really loud. They are also rather long (duh) and will require you to buy SMG (MP7 pouches for example) pouches to fit them. Mags: Magazines feel cheap, and are a bitch to empty (for example when there's some BB's left in the mag and you want to empty them by pressing the little button). Feels like premium stuff when you hold it. Since the EVO came up on this thread aswell, I will compare both guns on here starting with the Vector, I have about 10 hours of actual gameplay time with both guns, neither are mine, neither am I a fanboy of any of them so I'm pretty objective:Įxternals: The body feels solid, very solid, all the buttons are very 'hard' to press (very tough springs behind them), doesn't feel like it will break anytime.
